One thing I have learned in 2018 is that gratitude can make such a difference in your life. Writing down things I am thankful for has helped me appreciate the life I am living in a way I have never before. And reflecting upon what I have has made me realize that this life is indeed pretty much amazing. So for 2019 I want to make it a habit to share some of these thankful lists with you and inspire you to do so too.
With exam season coming up and hitting me hard, no wonder that chocolate has found its way on top of my gratitude list. After having had a one-year uni break doing exam season again stresses me out so much. I have been pretty much procrastinating for the majority of the Christmas break and am in dire need to start studying and writing soon. So wish me luck.
I have a really cool new project in the pipeline for this year and cannot wait to start working on it. Together with a friend I am venturing in a totally new direction and I am thrilled for a new challenge, new learning’s and new failures/successes. Although, I do hope that successes will overweigh the failures in this journey.
Being back in the reading game
One of my new years resolutions for 2019 is to get back into reading. And so far it’s been going rather well. I even really enjoy my university readings, which definitely speaks for itself.
Planning the new year
I just love making lists, scribbling in my yearly planner and coming up with ideas, bullet journal spreads and trackers. So the start of a year always makes me super happy because not only do I get to plan the year ahead, but also can I open up a new journal and start fresh. This seriously is one of the most satisfying feelings.
I sometimes feel as if there is no space for me in the blogging world. I feel as if the market is oversaturated already and no one needs my words anyways. Lately, however, I have taken a step back and started to not take myself so seriously anymore. I love Instagram. But I love blogging even more. Sitting down in the evenings with a bar of chocolate and a cup of hot tea to write a blog post, edit pictures and curate it all for publishing is one of the most calming and relaxing activities for me. So I sure won’t quit it for a few doubtful moments.
What are you thankful for right now?
