Remember when a few months ago everyone was shading Instagram for being so unrealistic? Well, I couldn’t agree less. Through Instagram I’ve literally met the best people. I constantly am in contact with like-minded girls and boys and can exchange my ideas and thoughts on various topics with you guys. And also, hey without Instagram I probably wouldn’t have this blog!!
Anyway, what I initially wanted to do is telling you about my little Vienna getaway & girlsnight with two of my lovely Instafriends Angie (+Pippa) & Jules. So on Tuesday morning I stepped on the train to Vienna to meet the 2,5 girls. We checked in at the 25hours Hotel and somehow didn’t leave the room until dinner time even though we first planned to explore the city. Our room was way too cozy and the cold weather outside not inviting at all. So we chatted for hours and had a blast. I just love meeting people who I get along with from the very start – there wasn’t one awkward moment, and trust me I’m usually very good at embarrassing myself when it comes to social interaction.
After that we went out to have dinner with some lovely readers and internet friends at “Das Campus“. It was a super nice evening with delicious food. However, I’m not sure if I can really recommend the restaurant since the waiters were super unfriendly that day. Maybe it was just bad luck but to me service is really important when it comes to the “do I go there again?” question. My Flammkuchen was really good tho!
Wednesday morning we got up and enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel. Duh, I just love hotel breakfasts! Aren’t they the absolute best thing about sleeping away? Oh and we had some Starbucks – common white girl thing I know, but we don’t have it here in Graz and a girl’s gotta have her coffee! We also strolled around snowy Vienna with Chrissi and took some lovely Outfit shoots, which you’ll see later this week :)
Oh and, have I already told you how much in love I am with Pippa? She’s one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen! I wish I’d have one as well, preferably a French bulldog but oh well, I feel like I wouldn’t be the best dog mom since I can’t say no to these adorable eyes! My frenchie would probably weigh 30kg – so it’s better for the dogs that I don’t have one yet. Need to work on that until I get myself one… one day you’ll be mine sweet puppy!
All in all I’ve had 2 wonderful days and a fabulous girlsnight in Vienna. I didn’t expect this trip to turn out so nice but I was super happy about meeting the girls. Thanks again to all of you who went out for dinner with us – it was super nice to meet y’all in real life! Unfortunately I’m feeling a bit rubbish now.. need to get healthy again because in reality I have a hella lot of University stress and need to study and work on my papers rather than being sick in bed. So wish me luck I’ll get better soon :D
