Hold still. There’s a new child in town. Okay, the Ginko Greenhouse isn’t entirely new (it opened in 2015) but still one of my most recent obsessions. What I love about big cities is their huge variety of vegan, gluten-free, hipster restaurants. We did have a couple of veggie places here in Graz ever since I moved to the Styrian capital BUT none of them entirely convinced me.
Then came Ginko Greenhouse. And I fell head over heels. Their vegan bowls and delicious coffee immediately convinced me and I’ve been trying to make my friends go there at least once a month. Oops! When they invited me and a couple of other bloggers from Graz to check out their new afternoon menu a couple of days ago I started to love them even more so. They menu was great before. But now you can enjoy their delicious vegan bowls until 9 p.m. And they added some new things, like sweet potato fries. Isn’t that fabulous?
Blogger Dinner at the Greenhouse:
We got to try a mixed salad (yum!), bruschetta, indian samosa, buckwheat “sterz” with marinated tofu, sweet potato fries with vegan mayonnaise and guacamole, homemade falafel with taboulè AND a vegan cheesecake. And let me tell you what I think about their food: IT’S FANTASTIC! My favourite, by far, were their homemade falafel and the sweet potato fries. Hmmm…..
I’m not telling you all this because I got to eat their food for free. Although as a student that always is a plus for me! I’m telling you about this place because I genuinely think it’s one of the best places in Graz. The interior is so cozy and cute. The waiters are all so kind and nice. And the food is brilliant. I love to go there in the morning, drinking tea and reading a book. However, going there for lunch/dinner is equally as good. Their food bowls are delicious, fresh, vegan and, best of all, Instagram worthy. The whole place is, to be quite honest.
We love Greenhouse
So if you’re in Graz, love vegan food, want to take pretty pictures of your food and drink delicious coffee: call me. No just kidding, make sure to pop by at the Greenhouse by Ginko. And don’t forget to tell me afterwards how right I was about telling you to go there ;) Pssst…. their basil gin is SO GOOD. *swoon Check out their menu » HERE «
