It’s the first of November and that means: Christmas is just around the corner! That’s why I decided to start the new month with my first Christmas gift guide. I’ll be releasing a new one each week until Christmas – maybe not really Christmas because that’d leave you literally no time to buy presents, but you get the idea. So I browsed through online shops and selected what seemed to be some lovely Christmas present ideas. Ok I’m guilty… maybe I selected the things I’d love to unwrap under the Christmas tree – but nonetheless, maybe some of you get inspired by my favorites. Today I’m kicking the gift guides off with my favorite picks for the traveller and globetrotter.
Let’s start with the basics. When I first saw this Ted Baker Suitcase online I knew it was destiny. It’s so incredibly pretty – can I please have it? I’m aware that it’s not the cheapest thing in the entire world. However, I think investing in a high quality suitcase that does also look gorgeous can’t really be a mistake. Every traveller needs a suitcase, right? Another staple item is the Herschel Backpack I’ve been wanting to get for a really long time now. I already told you about my love for their backpacks back in August in this post and my desire to have one still hasn’t changed much. I think these backpacks are just perfect for every traveller as you can carry around all your stuff very easily. Also it’d work great as a carry-on luggage for flights.
When it comes to fashion, I think there’s nothing cozier and more comfortable than a Onesie from OnePiece. This has also been on my wish-list for a very long time now. Doesn’t it look perfect for a long day of traveling? Just imagine snuggling up in it on a long-haul flight or running in it to catch your train on time. Perfect for any travel related occasion really. With these gorgeous headphones from Frends you can’t really go wrong. They’re so pretty and useful at the same time. Especially these rosé gold ones stole my heart. Speaking of rosé gold. One of my favorites lately is my Daniel Wellington watch. I haven’t stopped wearing it ever since I got it a few days ago and think this would be perfect for almost everyone. Like, buy one for your mother, your dad, your boyfriend, your brother, your grandma, your best-friend… And the best thing is: if you order anything from their website you can get 15% off by using the code “DW_getaway” until the 15th of November.
Another thing I love is my “36 Hours: 125 weekend in Europe“ book. It’s full of lovely travel recommendations and there’s nothing better than crossing off each country you visited at the front of the book. There are also other editions like “36 hours in America” and if you’re feeling generous you can even buy the whole “36 Hours: World” collection in one package. Last but not least I selected this super pretty Travel Mug from Starbucks. For me as an avid coffee drinker these travel mugs are the perfect thing. They save money, help the environment and let you look fashionable while drinking your daily cup of coffee/tea on the go. Love it!
Do you have any other ideas? And do you like the items I picked for the first gift guide?
