*sponsored content* As a gal with really sensitive skin, I spend a good chunk of time searching for products that add the body and texture that I dream of to my hair, while still being gentle on my scalp. I find most products either give me awesome volume but dandruff or get rid of my dry skin but flatten the hair. This search has recently made me picking up a few new hair care staples. The lovely team at L’Oréal Paris sent me their new Elvital Planta Clear range to test and try. So, I wanted to introduce this unexpected hair care hero to you guys too. Because let’s face it… dandruff and irritated skin is a real problem many women suffer from.
Elvital Planta Clear: Tea-tree Oil, Lemon Grass Oil & Geranium Oil
This range features three different hair shampoos for either normal hair, sensitive skin or greasy hair. I personally love the sensitive one because it takes good care of my scalp, helps me with the leftovers of my dandruff, and also smells delicious. The smell is due to the three natural oils contained in the shampoo. Their fresh and herb scented aroma help you with waking up body and mind.
Truth be told… after winter our skins aren’t always feeling as fabulous as the weather makes us feel. The hot and dry air of the heating combined with the cold outside isn’t the best for the skin. This usually results in super dry and flaky skin. I know sounds kinda disgusting but I know I’m not alone with that problem. So, during the spring months, we gotta put that extra effort into our beauty regimes. The L’Oréal Paris Elvital Planta Clear shampoo in combination with an extra moisturizing argan oil after really helped me get back control over my hair situation.
How to combat the springtime blues
Never heard of Springtime blues? It sure is a real thing and I totally am suffering from it right now. Usually, spring should make you feel happy and upbeat about all that sun that is finally making its way through your blinds again and flowers start blooming on your way to work. However, each spring, I just feel so incredibly tired and drained that I only want to sleep for hours on end. So here’s what you can do to beat that Springtime blues.
- Get active – Run, hit the gym, or do whatever gives you an extra boost of endorphins
- Fresh air, baby – Take a walk in the sun, sit down to read a book in the park, or simply take your bike to work and enjoy some extra rays of sunshine
- Springtime beats and catchy tunes will definitely boost your mood
- Fresh scents and natural oils on the skin and in your hair
- Put more effort into your beauty routine to feel extra fresh
- Eat healthier (more veggies, more fruits)
