After showing you my favorite TV shows a couple of weeks ago, I decided to tell you more about the movies I like to watch today. I’m not the movie kind of person and usually like TV series more. I don’t know what it is but I just seem to lose interest quite easily and get fed up when I have to watch a movie more than once. Still, it’s really hard to pick just a few favorites because it always depends on my mood what movies I like to watch. However, here are some of the films that I’ve watched a couple of times without getting tired of ’em:
The Lion King: aka the classic. I’m a sucker for all things Disney and literally enjoy every single movie they make. Lion King, however, will always hold a special place in my heart as THE best movie ever. Dah, now I want to re-watch it or finally see the musical in Hamburg.
Now you see me: This one was a big surprise. I went to see it at the movies with a friend because we got cheap tickets and the trailer looked kinda cool. I really didn’t expect this movie to be as amazing as it is. That plot-twist though, really didn’t see that coming! Cannot wait for the sequel that’s coming out next summer. Eeeek, the trailer looks so promising!!!
Silver Lining: Ok I need to admit that I enjoyed the book way more than the movie. But it’s still an amazing adaptation. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are such an amazing couple on screen – I just can’t get enough of their acting. Love, love, love this movie!!
10 Things I hate about you: Ok, I might or might not have watched this movie at least a thousand times. I don’t know what it is but for some reason I just don’t get tired of this. Heath Ledger was such an incredibly talented actor and I’m so glad we got to see him perform in this movie. If you haven’t already seen it: what are you waiting for? Go watch it! NOW!
The Hunger Games Series: Come on, this is a no-brainer. Apart from Harry Potter, the Hunger Games fandom will always be my favorite. I loved the books and even more so enjoyed the movies. We’re really blessed to have gotten such an amazing director and cast – I really couldn’t have wished for a better adaptation than this one. And duh, Mockingjay Part 2 was absolutely perfect – what an amazing ending to the series.
Django Unchained: I love Tarantino movies. And I love Christoph Waltz. Combine the two of them, add some gory details, an amazing Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Fox and you’ll end up with one of the most epic movies ever made. As I’ve already said, I get bored quite easily when watching a long movie – Django on the other side didn’t feel long at all to me.
Speaking of Leo, here’s a little list of other movies I’m obsessed with. And yes I am fully aware that not all of them have Leo in it :D
- Catch me if you can
- Wolf of Wallstreet
- The Great Gatsby
