*sponsored content* If you follow me on Instagram, you might know that in the midst of a very busy exam season, I took time off to spend two days in Berlin last weekend. What first seemed like a very bad idea given the amount of work I had to take with me to do during my flight, quickly turned into a really fun experience.
The new Coke Zero Sugar
You guys know how uncomfortable huge events make me, and this one wasn’t an exception. Going there certainly wasn’t a piece of cake for me. However, I’m utterly grateful to have been given the opportunity and for stepping out of my comfort zone.
We started off the event by blind testing the new Coke Zero Sugar. We each were given three cups of Coca-Cola and had to guess which one was the new Zero Sugar and which one the Ordinary Coca-Cola – sounds quite easy, right? Well, not a single one of us managed to come up with the right solution. Hah, fail!
But what about the new Coke Zero Sugar then? It’s VERY similar to the taste of the original one. I personally always opt for Coke Light because I simply never liked the taste of the Zero and wasn’t willing to “waste calories” on the normal one. Well, the new one tastes really similar to the original – maybe a tad sweeter. Many of my friends despise the diet version and I’m sure they’re gonna be SO happy about the new option to enjoy the original taste without consuming any sugar and calories. Win, win – right?

Completely failing the blind tasting wasn’t the only thing we did at the event, though. The SisterMAG team organized a fabulous get together with amazing workshops. My highlight was the cocktail hour with the bar manager of the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin, who introduced us to the world of fancy drinks. Straight down my alley! We each had to tell him our signature perfume (mine is Chanel No 5 L’eau by the way) and he mixed us our own personalized cocktail. How great is that? I expected mine to be super sweet and girly but it turned out absolutely perfect, a whiskey sour with rose petals and a black tea infusion. YUMM
FUN FUN FUN
After grabbing a bite to eat we were invited to try on clothes and get our makeup and hair freshened up for a fun shooting with the girls from EyeCandy Berlin. The set they created was absolutely insane and I wish we’d had more time to use it. I’m absolutely no pro in front of the camera but I think the pictures turned out great anyway. What do you think?
But brace yourselves, that’s not all. They also had an illustrator there to create drawings of each of us. I always wanted to have something like that and absolutely adore the piece she did of me. At 5 pm the big after work party started and our giveaway winners entered the area. All in all, I can say that I’ve had the best of times at the event and in Berlin.
Huge events usually aren’t my comfort-zone and I have to admit I felt like suffocating in the action at times. But I’m so happy I decided to say yes to this great event and had such a fun time in Berlin. Also, I re-discovered my liking for cocktails with Coca-Cola. For some reason – maybe too many parties in my teenage years, who knows – I just couldn’t bring myself to order them anymore but they’re so underrated!
Have you already tried the new Coke Zero Sugar? And what kind of Coca-Cola person are you usually? I’d love to hear your stories in the comments down below :)
A massive thank you to sisterMag & Coca-Cola for this amazing opportunity. I thoroughly enjoyed the event and had the best of times in Berlin. All opinions expressed in this post are, as always, 100% my own.
