On Sunday we had a super lovely September day here in Austria. Crisp autumn air pared with lots and lots of warming sunshine. Couldn’t get any better if you ask me. That’s why I decided to take out my brand new Cat Eye Sunglasses and go for a walk through Graz. We ended up the Schlossberg (YES, I go up there quite a lot) and decided to take some pictures. And honestly, I think the picture didn’t turn out that bad. I’m still a bit self-conscious and shy in front of the camera but I think I’m getting better and better – the pictures don’t look too bad so I guess that’s a sign of me getting the hang of it, isn’t it? :D
I don’t know if I’ve already said it (probably have) but: “I love love love LOVE autumn!” There’s just something so calming about the leaves falling onto the streets, clothes getting cozier and drinks getting hotter. Also September has always felt like a good time for new starts to me – maybe because it’s “back to school” time. I always loved going back to school! I mean what’s better than heading out to shop for some new stationary or actually have a reason to buy new clothes, shoes, sunnies, etc. :D
Speaking of sunnies. I just recently received a pair of those ah-mazing Le Specs Hollywood Blvd sunglasses I’m wearing on the pictures and I’m so in love with them. Let’s pray for lots of sunny autumn days for me to show those beauties off. Ever since I’ve first seen Le Specs Sunglasses on other bloggers I knew I needed to have some. And after hearing that their sunglasses are supposed to be rather big I knew they were the perfect fit for me. Only problem – they offer such an incredible range of pretty sunglasses. In the end I opted for those lilac ones with mirrored glasses. SO COOL!
I’ve always been the kid with the big head.
Hah that sounds bad. Thus I always found it super hard to find sunglasses that suit my face. After trying out various shapes and sizes I realized that the Cat Eye Style fits me best. After finding a style that I actually liked on my face I started to experiment with colors, shapes and sizes and started to get a bit more comfortable with “odd” ones. Life is too short to wear boring clothes/accessoires, am I right?
So I paired my new lilac sunglasses with a black basic top, some boyfriend jeans and took my Birkenstocks out for (maybe) the last time this year. Of course I also had a Cardigan with me as I would have freezed to death on the way back home – with 22 degrees it wasn’t THAT warm after all. To me this is the perfect late summer/early autumn outfit!!
What kind of sunglasses do you wear? And what do you think about my new Le Specs?
