Heyo, what’s up you guys? I feel like all I’m doing at the moment is working on my seminar papers or studying for uni exams. I really cannot wait for January to be over so I can finally have some quality free time again. Especially for watching movies. I feel like 2016 will be such an amazing movie year as there are so many great films hitting the cinemas in the next couple of months. So I decided it might be a nice idea to share 6
(or more) movies I’m excited for in 2016 with you :)
Movies I’m excited for in 2016
Deadpool: Oh Marvel you’ve done it again. I find Marvel movies aren’t merely filled with action but also extremely hilarious. And the Deadpool trailer looks like so much fun. Cannot wait for this movie to hit theatres and dear lord please let marvel not disappoint me again! Fingers crossed this will be a good one.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: When I first heard that the Harry Potter fandom was getting another movie I was completely beyond myself. And Eddie Redmayne is such an amazing actor. I cannot wait to see what they created and if the movie is worth its place within the fandom. The trailer looks really promising so far even though I’m not so sure about the fact that it’s set in New York.
Civil War: Oh my god I literally cannot wait for this movie to finally come out. Even though I was extremely disappointed by Avengers Age of Ultron, I’m definitely looking forward to their newest addition to the Avengers series. Captain America never was my favourite superhero but him against Ironman sounds really promising. Plus I cannot wait to see more of Black Widow, that woman just slays!
Star Wars Rogue One: Ok I gotta admit that I only just recently realized that this years Star Wars movie will not be a sequel but in fact a prequel. Doesn’t change my anticipation though. The storyline sounds so intriguing and after having watched the whole Clone Wars series within a week I cannot wait to see more of the Star Wars Universe.
Now You See Me 2: I absolutely loved the first Now You See Me movie. It was such a unique interpretation of magic, tricks and illusions. When I heard that they will do another one I wasn’t sure quite sure what to think. Sequels often ruin a franchise for me. But with Daniel Radcliffe on board, what can they ruin, eh? :D
Alice in Wonderland 2: Honestly, I’m a big Tim Burton fan and Alice in Wonderland was one of my favorite movies for the longest time. Johnny Depp was simply mesmerizing as the Mad Hatter and I’m obsessed with the Cheshire cat, so creepy and yet utterly cute. Also I’m a sucker for great cinematic effects and the first Alice movie definitely had plenty of that.
And because for an amazing movie year such as 2016 six movies definitely aren’t enough, here are some more movies I really wanna see this year: Suicide Squad, Me Before You, The Girl on the Train, Jungle Book, Zootopia, The Revenant, The Hateful Eight;
