*sponsored content* Not gonna lie, procrastination is one of my biggest problems. Ok – it is my biggest enemy! Actually… as I’m writing this post I am procrastinating from studying for my latin exam next Monday. Said exam stresses me out so much – all I wanna do is leave the house, step onto a plane and fly away from my responsibilities. However, running from my responsibilities is not an option – neither for me, nor for you. Well, unless you’re a Kardashian – then you can pretty much do whatever you want and still make tons of money. So I decided to share 11 quick and easy ways to keep the stress levels to a minimum if you neither have time or money.
- Grab a cup of tea/coffee and enjoy a lovely piece of cake.
- Take some minutes off to enjoy a good book.
- Listen to some relaxing music and give yourself a hand massage.
- Take a quick walk to get some fresh air.
- Bake or cook something nice.
- If you’re more sporty you might as well go for a quick run.
- Take a bath (preferably with candles on).
- Do some light and easy yoga or stretching exercises to get the juices flowing.
- Draw, doodle or write something down. (I like to do lists^^)
- Meet or call a loved one and let go of everything that bothers you.
This might not be the best tipp butscroll through your phone and get your mind off stressful things.
On Monday I was woken by the postman ringing my door-bell around lunch time. Good for me because otherwise I would have definitely overslept my very first day back at university due to napping a little longer than I was supposed to. Way to go Kerstin! I was so excited when I saw the big package from Drei. It was one of their popular boxes they send out to help people de-stress and have a short break. Lucky me was selected to be part of their #Bloggerpause program – YAY! Perfect timing with my latin exam going on at the moment. In the box there were some yummy austrian (vegetarian) snacks like my favorite Manner Schnitten, Almdudler and Soletti. Furthermore I found a crazy foot-hammock in it, which you can span beneath your work-desk to be more comfortable and some fun games. Basically all you need to de-stress and chill.
Their idea is to win/get a code over on their website or Facebook and send a box out to someone who you think might need a short break. With this you can make someones day by surprising them with a box full of goodies. People who receive a box will find another code in theirs and can therefore also send a box out to surprise someone else. I used my code to surprise my parents and they were so happy. Is there anything better than making other people’s days? If you’re interested, you can visit their website and get more information about these boxes.
What do you do to quickly de-stress? And what do you think about these boxes?
So cool!
